Accommodation

Mtentu River Lodge offers a truly rustic getaway experience. Up to 24 guests can be accommodated in six wooden chalets, each offering a breathtaking view of the Indian Ocean framed by sub-tropical vegetation, from their private decks. All of the structures at the lodge are wooden, with a wooden walkway linking all of the buildings so as to limit negative environmental impact. There is a communal entertainment area situated centrally from all of the cabins, with a deck, a boma and a magnificent view of the mouth of the Mtentu Estuary. At the end of an adventure-filled day, friends, old and new, are encouraged come together and relax in the comfy chairs provided, catch up with a good book, share experiences of the day around the bonfire or enjoy a drink marvelling at the beauty of the Indian Ocean.
